City Reserves Romp Home in 10-1 Win
Citizens Keep Pressure On at the Top of the Table with an emphatic 10-1 win against Llandudno Junction Reserves
Bangor City's Reserves scored five goals in each half as they romped home to another win in the Welsh Alliance Reserves Division as they keep pace with leaders Denbigh Town.
The Citizens set the ball rolling in the 9th minute with Sam Jones' opener which was followed just two minutes later by right back Jamie Pasquiel's strike. Adam Evans added his name to the scoresheet with City's third on 21 minutes. A Llandudno Junction strike and an own goal on 31 minutes were followed by Mark Dunn's goal on the stroke of half time to make it 5-1 at the interval.
Captain Ifan Emlyn Jones and striker Sam Jones extended City's lead to 7-1 within 5 minutes of the restart. The introduction of substitute Harri Hughes produced a superb individual strike as he weaved past several defenders before calmly slotting home City's eighth on 80 minutes before repeating his exploit just a minute later. Adam Evans doubled his personal tally and notched City's tenth goal on 85 minutes with a neat finish to cap another fine display by The Citizens.
