Official Bangor City FC Media Release

Andy Legg was offered a full time contract following the departure of Neville Powell. At the time, due to Andy's logistics, personal circumstances and broadcasting commitments, Andy requested to work with no contract until Christmas 2016 with a view to review his position then.

The football club has monitored these factors closely since then and unfortunately does not feel there has been a change in the circumstances. We have therefore decided that for us to achieve our goals for this season and next, we need to have in place a manager who can work immediately on a full time basis to secure European football and lead us into next season where it is our ambition to be full time.

The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Andy Legg for his services and we wish him the very best of luck in the future.
