Development Under-19's striker Sam Jones has penned a deal until Summer 2019 that secures his immediate future to Bangor City FC.
The Menai Bridge-based prospect has featured regularly in the JD WPL matchday squads this term, and made his First Team debut as a second half substitute in the New Year's Day match against Llandudno.
Sam has been prolific in front of goal for the Development squad this term, netting 28 goals from 17 appearances in all competitions which includes no less than six hat-tricks in the Welsh Premier Development League North.
The Bangor City FC management team have also added the signature of 20-year old Mohamed Alieu Sheriff in the last of the club's January transfer activity.
The commanding 6 foot 2 inches tall Alieu Sheriff has also signed a deal that keeps him at the VSM Bangor Stadium until the end of the 2018/19 season, and goes out on a loan deal to Huws Gray Alliance side Flint Town United for the rest of the 2017/18 season.
Midfielder Alieu Sheriff can play across a range of positions either centrally or out wide as well as up front and possesses good strength, pace and agility as well as an eye for goal.
Holding dual Dutch-Liberian nationality, Alieu Sheriff came through the ranks at Cheadle Town (Under-18), Chadderton FC (Under-21) and FC United of Manchester (Under-23), scoring 5 times from 5 starts for the latter this season. He has also represented Liberia at Under-20s level in the AFCON Qualifiers.
Bangor City FC are also delighted to announce that local midfield playmaker Sam Ashworth has also signed terms for the Under-19 Development squad for the rest of the season.
Ashworth was a member of the Citizens WPDL and National Development title-winning squad two seasons ago and returns to the VSM Bangor Stadium following a spell with The New Saints.
Bangor City FC looks forward to seeing all three in action for The Citizens in the coming months.
