Bangor City FC confirm signatures of ex-Blackpool & Leicester City forward Gary Taylor-Fletcher, midfielder Yalany Baio and striker Louis Robles

Bangor City FC is delighted to confirm the signatures of ex-Blackpool and Leicester City forward Gary Taylor-Fletcher, midfielder Yalany Baio and striker Louis Robles ahead of the January transfer window deadline.

35-year-old Taylor-Fletcher joins from Accrington Stanley after leaving National League club Tranmere Rovers in the summer. Taylor-Fletcher holds the distinction of scoring in all top five divisions of English league football. Beginning his career with former adversaries Northwich Victoria, Taylor-Fletcher enjoyed spells with Leyton Orient, Lincoln City, Huddersfield Town, Blackpool (scoring the club’s first-ever EPL goal) and Leicester City, making over 450 career starts and netting over 100 goals.

22-year-old Yalany Baio, is a tough tackling midfielder who holds dual Guinea-Bissau and Portuguese nationality. Beginning his career in the Sporting Lisbon youth structure, Baio joined Liverpool in 2011 where he featured in the Reds’ youth and reserve sides. Tracked by several clubs following his release by Liverpool in 2014, Baio joined Dutch Eerste Divisie club Sparta Rotterdam.

Liverpool-born striker Louis Robles, age 22, spent time with Liverpool FC’s Academy set-up before joining the Wigan Athletic youth structure. Robles made his professional debut for the Latics in May 2015 in a Championship match at Brentford’s Griffin Park. Loans to National League side Macclesfield Town and then Gloucester City of the National League North preceded his release by Wigan Athletic in the summer, subsequently moving into US college football with Limestone Saints in South Carolina.

Taylor-Fletcher, Baio and Robles could all make their debuts in Saturday's JD Welsh Cup Round 4 tie with Llandudno, subject to ITC approval. Bangor City FC would like to welcome all three players to the Bangor University Stadium. Croeso!
