Bangor City FC In The Community

Bangor City FC in the Community (BCFCITC) is the community partnership between Bangor City FC and Vi-Ability. The key aim of BCFCITC is to utilise the motivational power of football and inspirational setting of a Welsh Premier League Football Club to promote and facilitate the development of positive lifestyle's.

BCFCITC has been established since 2012 and in its near 4 years of existence the scheme has gone from strength to strength. Delivering a diverse range of activities on a weekly basis BCFCITC run football sessions for children from as young as 3 to adults and works with a range of demographics running fun sessions for mixed boys and girls, as well as running the Bangor City FC Girls set up which has 4 teams from U10 up to U16 as well as Disability Football Sessions for both junior and adults players.

BCFCITC is an accredited Fun Football Provider for the Welsh Football Trust, the community arm of the Football Association of Wales.

On a weekly basis BCFCITC deliver 3 after-school clubs in the Bangor area for children aged 3 - 13 years; Girls only Football Training for female players 8 - 16 years; Turn Up and Play Session in Holyhead for 4 - 7 years and Disability Football Coaching for Junior and Adult players.

BCFCITC also works in partnership with schools across Gwynedd and Anglesey on a range of different activities from football and other sport sessions, either during the day or after-school, as well as delivering its own bespoke educational projects based around Literacy, Numeracy and Healthy Living, which utilise the motivational power of football and inspirational examples of professional sports men and women to engage children and young people within educational development.
